Once your Titan mailbox is set up, you can manage its settings — aliases, forwarding, signatures, password, and more — right from your Hover control panel. This article covers where to find those settings and what to expect.
How mailbox management works
Hover embeds Titan's own admin panel inside your Hover control panel, so you can manage your mailbox without leaving Hover. The management screen has two parts: a Hover-built section at the top (showing your webmail login link, subscription status, and an upgrade option), and Titan's embedded panel below it, where all mailbox-level settings live.
Before you begin
- An active Titan mailbox. If you haven't set one up yet, see Setting Up Your Titan Mailbox After Purchase.
Step 1: Open mailbox management
- Go to the Email control panel.
- Select Manage next to the mailbox.
Step 2: Update your mailbox settings
The embedded Titan panel includes the following tools:
- Email Accounts — create new mailboxes and manage existing ones, including aliases and password resets. Create email accounts via Email Control Panel · Manage Email Accounts via Email Control Panel
- Internal Forwarding — create personalized email addresses for your domain and forward them elsewhere. Creating internal forwarding accounts
- Catch-all Email — route all undelivered emails on your domain to a single catch-all mailbox, so nothing sent to a mistyped address gets lost. Set up Catch-all email for your domain
- Import Email Data — migrate existing email into your mailbox from another provider via IMAP. Import emails to Titan
- Connect Domain — check your domain's live DNS status and see the steps to finish activating email on it. Domain Verification
- Email Reputation — keep your domain's sending reputation healthy so more of your emails reach the inbox instead of spam. Email reputation: Set DKIM to reduce spam complaints
- Get Mobile & Desktop App — access your email from anywhere, on any device. Download the Titan Desktop and Mobile App
- Enable Titan on Other Apps — turn on third-party access so you can set up your mailbox in an app like Outlook or Gmail. Enable Titan on other apps — once enabled, see Setting Up Titan Email on Other Apps (IMAP or POP) to finish setup.
- Upgrade Mail Plan — move to a higher tier to unlock more features. Manage your Titan Email Plan/Subscription
- Buy Email Accounts — purchase more mailboxes for your domain. Manage your Titan Email Plan/Subscription
Note: If you click a feature that isn't included in your current plan, you'll see a prompt to upgrade rather than the setting itself. See Titan Email Billing & Cancellation for how upgrading works.
Step 3: Delete a mailbox (if needed)
- From the same management screen, choose the option to delete the mailbox.
- Confirm the deletion.
Warning: Deleting a mailbox removes access to its email, contacts, and calendar right away. Make sure you don't need that data before confirming. Additionally, please be aware that Titan Email services are non-refundable.
Deleting a mailbox frees up an account for a new mailbox, but doesn't reduce your domain's paid mailbox count or lower your bill on its own — see Titan Email Billing & Cancellation for what happens to billing after a deletion.
