After you buy Titan Email, your mailbox isn't quite ready to use yet — you'll need to set a username and password first. This article walks you through completing that setup from your Hover control panel.
Before you begin
- A completed Titan Email purchase. If you haven't bought Titan Email yet, see How to Purchase Titan Email.
- A password that meets Hover's requirements. Your password must be at least 14 characters, and include both uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character.
Step 1: Locate the domain in the control panel
- Log in to your Hover account.
- Head to Domains control panel, select your domain, and go to the Email tab.
Step 2: Create your mailbox
- Enter the email address and password you want to use for this mailbox.
- Submit the form to create your mailbox.
Note: If you bought more than one mailbox for your domain, repeat this step for each one — you can set them up one at a time, whenever you're ready.
Step 3: Connect your domain's DNS to Titan Email
- Go to the Email tab and select your Titan mailbox.
- Select Connect Domain — check your domain's live DNS status and see the steps to finish activating email on it. Domain Verification
Note that DNS propagation may take some time to complete, which can temporarily affect email functionality while records update across the internet.
After you submit
Once you submit your mailbox details, Hover creates your mailbox with Titan. Your mailbox's status changes to Active in the control panel, and you'll receive a confirmation email with your new mailbox address and login details.
